AMD's 64-bit ARM server SoC

At last week's Open Compute Summit in San Jose, California, AMD announced it would be sampling its 64-bit ARM SoC for server toward the end of the first quarter. General availability of 64-bit versions of the low-power processors for servers is expected to accelerate adoption of the architecture in the data center market. A number of vendors, including AppliedMicro, are expected to bring 64-bit parts to market this year. Here's a short AMD-produced video of AMD and ARM execs talking about the part.
